The Croma which comes with a 108 kW 2.2-litre petrol engine is available with a six-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission. The manual derivative's price tag is R215 000 and the auto model costs R227 000.
A 1.9 turbodiesel model will join the line-up in the middle of next year.
The car comes with a host of standard features suchs as ESP with integrated Hill Holder (assists the driver on hill starts), xenon headlights, large "aspherical" rear-view mirrors, up to nine airbags (including a standard driver's side knee bag); automatic dual-zone climate control system, and the Hi-fi system with eight speakers and sub-woofer.
