Oy vey, Bieber's got a R20m Bugatti

MIAMI, FLORIDA - Justin Bieber has added another supercar to his collection, thanks to a generous token of appreciation in the form of a Bugatti Veyron from friend and music producer, Birdman (also known as Uncle Stunna).

Bieber had posted an image of himself getting out of a bright red Bugatti Veyron on Instagram, captioned: "Uncle Stunna luv. My first Bugatti #generosity'."

It appears to be a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, one of the fastest and most expensive street legal cars in the world.

OH, DEAR...

Is giving a supercar a good idea considering the star’s bad reputation and list of run-ins with the law for reckless driving?

The Veyron is the latest addition to Bieber's garage and sits alongside a Fisker Karma, a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Ferrari F430.

Earlier in 2014, Wheels24 reported Bieber was arrested for drunk driving and ‘dicing’. He was also caught speeding in his Fisker Karma in 2012.

According to netcarshow.com the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport Vitesse is an open-top version of the Grand Sport model and makes a whopping 882kW/1500Nm at 3000 to 5000rpm from its 7.9-litre W16 engine.

It reaches 100km/h in 2.9sec and has a claimed top speed of 410km/h, making this all-wheel drive car one of the fastest production roadsters ever. The maximum speed is reached on closed tracks with special safety precautions.

The London Daily Mail reported that the pricey gift was the result of a long night of work in a Miami, Florida studio with Birdman, co-founder of Cash Money, on April 6 2014.

The base model of the car sells for the equivalent of R19.8-million and is the world's fastest convertible.

Birdman, who has a net worth equivalent to over R1.5-billion, is a big fan of the sports car brand and has one of his own Bugatti models in his garage, also worth over R20-million.

Bieber, says the Daily Mail, is reportedly collaborating with one of the hip-hop mugul’s more recently signed artists, Austin Mahone.
