Aston's next Bond car: Meet the DB10

GAYDON, England - Aston Martin together with Eon Productions, the producers of the James Bond film franchise, has unveiled the iconic British spy’s stunning new car - the Aston Martin DB10.

The luxury British sports car, revealed at the on the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, has confirmed that James Bond will once again drive an Aston Martin in the new film 'Spectre'.

Aston Martin says the car will be a model developed specifically for the film and built in-house by the brand’s design and engineering teams.

Led by Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, the design team worked closely with the film’s director, Sam Mendes, to create the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.

JUST FOR 007

Celebrating the great British brand’s half century with Bond, which started with the iconic DB5, the DB10 gives a glimpse to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins, says the automaker.

Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer said: “In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today (Thursday, Dec 4 2014) we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond.

“To be partnering once again with Eon Productions is great news for this company and for everyone around the world that loves to see Bond at the wheel of an Aston Martin.”

Production will be strictly limited to 10 of the bespoke sports cars, developed and built by the designers, engineers and craftspeople at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters.

Spectre is due for release in November 2015.

HE'S BACK!

According to the Daily Mail, British actor Daniel Craig was officially confirmed for the 24th installment in the James Bond franchise, called Spectre. It will be his fourth Bond film after saying that the previous film, SkyFall, would be his last in the franchise.

The official announcement of Craig reprising his role as super-spy 007 in 'Spectre', will be directed by Sam Mendes.

The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in May 2015. Craig will be joined by a star-studded returning cast that includes Ralph Fiennes (playing the role of 'M'), Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny) , Ben Whishaw (Q) and Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner).

Newcomers include Monica Belluci, Christoph Waltz, David Bautista and Lea Seydoux, reported the Daily Mail.

Belluci (50) will be the oldest Bond girl to return in a Bond film.
