Fresh new styling at the front and rear gives the car a more distinctive look. At the front is a more prominent front bumper and foglamp design.
A new headlamp cluster features three-beam projector-style lights. The new grille now features two chrome trimmed bars.
Similarly, there is a new style rear bumper while the distinctive high mounted taillights now feature clear indicator covers, and a larger reversing light.
Other detail changes include a new hard spare wheel cover, new door handles, new sill trim, new B-post trim, revised arch protectors and front and rear mudguards.
The CR-V is still available with a 110kW 2.0 litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions
Honda has also improved the CR-V's Real Time 4WD system. This system automatically engages all-wheel drive only when required and now it delivers better acceleration and hill climbing performance on slippery surfaces, as well as smoother responses and improved performance when accelerating around corners or turning out of slippery road junctions.
The CR-V's interior also receives a makeover with new high quality seat and trim materials. It also has improved ergonomics.
Similar to that of the Accord, the main instrumentation now appears as a darkened panel with the ignition off, transforming to a bright display when the door lock is released and an even higher contrast one when the ignition is switched on, thanks to the use of backlighting.
