Motorsport South Africa's head office will move from its offices in the Kyalami Business Park, Midrand, on June 27 2014. The reason: unbearable traffic...

According to MSA: "The traffic situation in the Kyalami area has become progressively worse in the 18 years that MSA has been in its current premises and has now reached a point where staff are spending hours every day sitting in traffic."

According to MSA, heavy traffic has resulted in fewer visitors to its offices.

DECLINE IN VISITORS

MSA said: "It is evident that the adoption of online licensing and the ease of email communication has seen the numbers of physical visits to MSA head office decline in recent years so MSA trusts that not too many people will be inconvenienced by the move."

MSA said its new premises, although possibly further to travel for those involved with it, should be more accessible due to the proximity of a major highway.

MSA will operate from its new location on June 30:

Meersig 1
Constantia Boulevard
Constantiakloof
Roodepoort

MSA said: "The new premises are just off the N1 at the 14th Avenue off-ramp. Phone numbers and GPS co-ordinates for the new premises will be made known as soon as they become available."
