INDUSTRIAL FINE DINING: The Rolls-Royce owners were treated to food and entertainment in a most unusual setting.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars recently welcomed more than 100 customers to "dine on the line" where their cars are hand-assembled.
The unique event saw the factory's assembly hall transformed into a fine-dining area with guests entertained in the very place where every Rolls-Royce car is hand-built to each customer's commission.
HOME OF ROLLS-ROYCE
The guests, arriving in chauffeured Rolls-Royce Phantoms or by helicopter, were welcomed to the Home of Rolls-Royce by the management team and taken on a red-carpet stroll through the production area.
Craftsmen and women were on hand to demonstrate their skills although the occasion also provided the opportunity for Rolls-Royce to introduce customers to its new Phantom Series II whose models were on display alongside heritage cars from the 1930's.
