SEOUL, Korea - Kia Motors has announced that its global sales figures (export sales, domestic sales and sales from overseas plants) for cars, recreational vehicles and commercial vehicles for the first six months of 2014 totalled 1 442 851.
That's a 4.3% increase over the same period in 2013.
Cumulatively, through the first six months of 2014, China, North America, general markets and Europe experienced gains of 12% (326 108), 6.5% (334 357), 2.9% (263,239) and 1.3% (300 383 units) respectively.

Kia's best-selling model in overseas markets for the first six months of 2014 was the B-segment Rio with 247 388 sold.
The C-segment Cerato was the second-best seller at 219 484 and while the Sportage compact, Optima D-segment sedan and Soul urban crossover followed with 209 045, 133 370 and 97 114 respectively. - TheNewsMarket
