The BMW group experienced record growth around the world in September, 2012, with 177 716 (2011: 159 223) BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles delivered. That's 11.6% more than in September 2011.
It was also the group's best first nine months, with sales up 8.3% compared to the same period in 2011. 1 335 502 vehicles were delivered against 1 232 619 in 2011.
South Africa, sales in September were 2 331 in (2 324 in 2011). To date, BMW has delivered 21 464 vehicles, up 10%, over the same period in 2011.
BMW brand worldwide sales climbed by 14.3% to 146 843 vehicles in September 2012 (previous year 128 450).

Mini also produced some impressive sales figures for September. Besides the manufacturers increasing sales figures, last month at the Paris auto show, the company unveiled the Mini Paceman. The car is expected to provide further momentum for Mini when it arrives in the first half of 2013.
