Honda unveiled a compact SUV and a sporty roadster at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show - the Vezel and S660 Concept.
The Vezel will provide Honda with a key contender in the mini-SUV market and is set to take on the Ford EcoSport, Peugeot 2008 and Nissan Juke.

CHEEKY SUV
The Vezel will be sold initially in Japan from December 2013, globally in 2015, though its moniker might change.
In Japan, Honda will launch a hybrid and petrol version, both featuring a 1.5-litre direct injection engine.
According to Honda: "By adopting new-generation powertrain technologies, the Vezel delivers both a dynamic driving character and excellent fuel economy for both models."
SPORTY ROADSTER
Honda also unveiled its S660 Concept in Tokyo. The sporty roadster will be sold in Japan with mass production for the global market beginning in 2015.
Honda CEO and president Takanobu Ito said: "This model embodies the free-wheeling thinking of young Honda engineers who wanted to make a cool car unique to Honda. Our engineers are devoting their passion and technologies to the development of this model."
