Head-up helmet, maps and all

SAN FRANCISCO, California - Helmet manufacturer Skully has designed the P-1 equipped with built in GPS and a camera. How cool is that?

Motorcyclists have something to talk about over a hot cup of coffee after an early morning breakfast run.

Skully said the P-1 was the first motorbike helmet with a digital head-up display built in.

The company's media material says the P-1 can display maps and real-time of blind spots on a small display projected on the inside the helmet visor and can connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth.

Not even a ballpark price is yet available for the helmet.
