New York - Design, Performance, Luxury... the 2018 World Car winners have been revealed, we list all the top models announced at the New York International Auto Show on March 28.

The finalists in each category were chosen by a jury of 82 international automotive journalists from 24 countries.

Winners of the 2018 World Car of the Year, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Green Car, World Car Design of the Year and the World Urban Car titles were revealed at the New York auto show.

And the World Car of the Year is...

The new Volvo XC60 mid-size SUV has been named the 2018 World Car of the Year.

Other top accolades include the Range Rover Velar scooping Design of the Year and the new Volkswagen Polo named Urban Car of the Year.
