Cape Town - When it comes to special occasions like Matric balls, Grade 5 or 7 Valentines Balls and even 21st Birthday parties, arriving in a spectacular car to match the groomed outfit is of utmost importance. And, it really makes for good practice for the main event later in life - your wedding car.
Hiring wedding cars might usually be the groom's job, but the spouse-to-be has an important role to play as well. You have to consider their taste and likes as well, not to mention what kind of dress/outfit your partner will be wearing on the day. Is it a tight-fighting dress, or does it have more ruffles than a pinata? How far wide can the doors open and will he/she have ease of ingress?
Also, it's not just the bride and groom who need cars arranged... there's also the wedding party, so you might have to hire or arrange more than one or two cars - depending on the size of your bridal party.

I like to think my husband was real lucky when it came to our wedding day, or perhaps it was the other way round. I had the privilege of arranging ours and thankfully, we have the same taste in cars. Initially I wanted four cars - two Toyota Supras and two Nissan Skylines which belonged to dear friends of ours, but the Toyotas were unable to attend. So we had one black and one white classic Skylines to match our theme and my black wedding dress.
