Cape Town – It has been a frantic week in the motoring world with some rather unusual but also exciting events taking place.

On the note of bizarre events, we kept an eye on a live car kissing competition out in Texas, whereby contestants were required to kiss a Kia for as long as possible with the aim of winning the car.

Wheels24 also turned back the clock and remembered the time when Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher was in South Africa for a jam advertisement in the late 1990s.

Other stories included Toyota’s updated version of the 86 and BMW brings back the Club Sport name for the M4.
