Washington - A thorough drowsy driving study has recently been conducted in Washington DC, with results indicating that crashes involving drowsiness being higher than what was estimated.
As one of the most unreported traffic safety issues, detecting drowsiness after a crash is nearly impossible.
700 crashes reviewed
To follow through on the study, in-vehicle dashcam footage from over 700 crashes were analysed, proving that drowsy driving are above official estimates.
