Cape Town - From new models to South Africans racer competing internationally, here are 10 motoring shows you shouldn't miss.

Volkswagen SA has launched a new special edition of its popular Polo Vivo, it's called the Storm. Staying with new models, Chevrolet launched its refreshed Trailblazer SUV locally while BMW revealed details of its SA-bound next-gen 5 Series.

In motorsport, Sheldon van der Linde is competing in the Audi TT Cup finale and could become the first South African to win the series. Following a good season, Van der Linde is looking to make the most of the final race-weekend later in October.

This week we looked at ways SA motorists can protect themselves against car-parts switching and ensuring that their vehicles are fitted with the parts they paid for.
