VW in the limelight
Volkswagen has launched its new Polo and showcased its R6.1-billion investment at its factory in Uitenhagee. VWSA says it expects to produce 133 000 cars this year!
The anticipation is half the fun: shortly before the start of the 2018 rally season, Volkswagen has now provided the first 15 customers with information on the delivery of their new Polo GTI R5.
Toyota recall
Toyota South Africa Motors said it has issued a notice to recall more than 700 000 vehicles over airbag safety concerns, with some affected models dating back over 15 years.
