New York - James May is saddled with a handicapped Richard Hammond, in a race against Jeremy Clarkson. May isn't exactly thrilled by his team mate's crutches in a new clip by The Grand Tour.

Why was Hammond injured? Earlier in 2017, he suffered an horrendous crash behind the wheel of the electric Rimac Concept One car. The former Top Gear star had to be airlifted after his serious car crash in Switzerland, suffering damage to his knee.

'Once more with crutches'

The Grand Tour: "James May has been  saddled with a handicapped Richard Hammond in a race against Jeremy Clarkson from New York City to Niagara Falls.

"It's a classic public transportation challenge on The Grand Tour this week, once more with crutches."
