Cape Town - From bakkies to sports cars... here is your car sales wrap.
Popular Vivo, Hilux reigns supreme
Regarding passenger vehicles, though the new Volkswagen Polo Vivo is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks, it did very little to hinder the outgoing model from showing what a sales de force it’s been since 2010.
The Toyota Hilux kicked off where it left 2017 as the best-selling bakkie in South Africa.
Also, Toyota took the two top spots for luxury SUV sales in January 2018 after both its Prado and Land Cruiser 200 soared to the top of the chart.
Then, the Ford Mustang kicked off the new year by resuming its position as the sales leader for sports cars in South Africa.
