Fiat 500

This little one holds the title of the most expensive Fiat 500 in the world - it was recently sold for a princely sum of £200 000.

One of four specially designed and painted models, it turned out to be one of the star lots at a recent charity auction held in London. The work of acclaimed English artist Tracey Emin, the work is entitled "Dark, Dark, Dark".

The first of the Tracey Emin-designed cars, I Told You Not To, was sold for £42 000 at a London contemporary art auction in October last year.

The premium hatchback will shake up the South African market when it arrives shortly with a choice of 1.2- and 1.4-litre engines and a multitude of options. Prices for individual models will be dependant on the range of options chosen.

Unveiled this past weekend at a one-off performance of La Passione, the little car will be available at Fiat dealerships from 5 July.

However, Wheels24 will be in attendance at the press event - look out for our first driving impression on 26 June.
