The official images of the all-new S60 are (finally) out. It's a stunner, and it’s on its way to South Africa.
Due here late next year, the new S60 has, according to Volvo, been designed to bring a "new level of elegance and dynamism" to its line-up.
"The all-new Volvo S60 is sculpted to move you. It looks and drives like no other Volvo before and the car's technology will help you to be safer and more confident behind the wheel," said Stephen Odell, president and CEO of Volvo Cars.
One of the S60's key new safety features is pedestrian detection that identifies pedestrians in front of the car and brakes automatically if the driver does not react in time.
S60 will be built at Volvo's Ghent plant in Belgium. The car will enjoy its official debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
