Chevrolet is celebrating its centenary with a special edition package for America’s favourite performance car – the Corvette.
The Centennial Edition package will be available on all Corvette models – from Z06 to the supercharged and rather mad ZR1.
TRIUTE TO LOUIS
Specifically tailored to celebrate the brand's founding a century ago by Swiss-born racer Louis Chevrolet, these Centennial Edition Corvettes will all be finished in an exclusive carbon flash metallic hue.
Satin-black Centennial Edition graphics (featuring Louis Chevrolet’s face on the B-pillars) and exclusive alloy wheels options (in sized from 18- to 20") round off the exterior styling package.
the instrument binnacle and doors are trimmed in ebony leather; contrasted by red seam stitching on the seats, steering wheel, centre console and transmission shifter top.
All Centennial Edition Corvettes will also receive magnetic ride (Chevrolet’s name for continually adaptive shocks) as standard. Engines? Customers can opt for either the Z06 and its 377kW, naturally aspirated, seven-litre, pushrod V8 or a supercar-baiting supercharged version of GM’s 6.2-litre V8 in the ZR1 - powering up to 475kW.
