Sultry new sports coupe from Seat

Seat keeps churning out new Ibiza models! Take a look at the most recent reveal - the sexy new Ibiza SportCoupe.

Previewed as the the SportCoupe Bocanegra at the Geneva show in March, this striking two-door is targeted at the enthusiastic driver.

About 17 mm lower than the "regular" five-door model, this car clearly signals the sporting intentions of the all-new Ibiza.

The Spanish range of hatchbacks is the first to ride on the VW Group's all-new platform, which will also form the basis of the new Volkswagen Polo, due here soon.

SportCoupe is powered by a 1.6-litre engine matched with the Group's exciting new seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which is said to be a first in this segment.

Precise engine and equipment details have yet to be confirmed, but Seat has suggested that the more potent FR and Cupra models will take their cues from the SportCoupe.
