Nissan SA recalls 7000 cuties

Nissan is recalling 841 000 compact cars worldwide due to a steering wheel glitch - 7000 of them in South Africa.

In May 2012 we reported on more than 20 vehicle models arriving in South Africa and the new model blitz continues unabated in June.

Chinese automaker Geely had a successful launch of its budget LC Cross although with a few teething problems on the launch day, courtesy of a crashed car transporter.

Citroen, keen to show off models that do not bear the DS badge, has updated its C1 range and launched its first soft-roader in SA – the C4 Aircross.

In other news, a customised Ford Mustang, designed and set to be built by an all-female team of volunteers, will be showcased at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas.

On the Motorsport front, Formula 1 fans will be treated to an action-packed Canadian GP over June 8-10. Stay with Wheels24 for the race weekend!
