Peugeot sportcar gets go-ahead

As part of Peugeot's ongoing global expansion, Jean-Phillippe Collin, the director general of Peugeot Cars said the final production model will be unveiled a the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

And Peugeot claims the production model will track the design and technology of the original concept fairly closely, by breaking away from the traditional coupe mould.

This unveiling follows just two years after it being shown in concept form at the 2007 show. The production version is likely go on sale from 2010.
