One of Peugeot's 2013 Frankfurt motor show crowd-pleasers will undoubtedly to its accomplished 208 T16 Pikes Peak challenger that demolished the previous record.
The most powerful incarnation of its 208 yet, the Pikes Peak challenger us powered by a 3.2 652kW V6 twin-turbo capable of 0-100km/h in 1.8sec.
PIKES PEAK RECORD
Nine-times World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb blitzed his way to a record time of 8min13.878 in the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Unlimited Class.
The US course has 156 wrist-sapping bends winding up the 19.3km route towards the 4.2km-high finish.
Alongside the T16 in Frankfurt will be another special 208 – the Nurburgring 24hr-endurance GTi.
