Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe too common for you? How about a one -ff Pininfarina designed version?
One-off Pininfarina Drophead
Named the Hyperion, this one-off Drophead based car runs under the project carrozzeria design banner, and will be on display during Pebble Beach Concourse – the world’s most exclusive car get together - in August this year.
The single design image released showcases an achingly pretty, streamlined Drophead silhouette. The design aims to pay homage to the great, swooping 1930s GT Coupe designs.
Materials and construction are sure to be as exotic as possible, seeing as the private client commissioning the car is keen to showcase a real showstopper at Pebble Beach – which takes some doing considering the money and material usual on show there.
- The Pebble Beach Concourse is a charitable event held at the Pebble Beach links golf course each year. The week long event brings out the most bespoke and well-looked after classic cars around and has run consistently since 1950, missing out only in 1960 because of scheduling conflicts.
