The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet has been shamed by Fortune magazine as its ‘ Most Disliked’ car in 2011.
The vehicle has been branded by the magazine as being "lumpy, dumpy, shaky and sluggish".
The Murano CrossCabriolet joins the likes of the Mercedes Benz R-Class and the Pontiac Aztek in the magazine's poll
ARTICHOKE ON WHEELS
The vehicle is a remake of the Murano crossover, sans the metal roof and two rear doors. It was billed as the first convertible crossover and with its raised suspension, has been described as an "artichoke on wheels".
It was said to be a hit with the fairer sex, who enjoyed the high commanding view of the road and its carrying capacity.
Understandably it was less of a hit with the manne, with one enthusiast saying that the CrossCabriolet resembled a "mechanical mutant".
Motoring journalist Dan Neil described the CrossCabriolet as "weird looking, with a front-end shape that would mix a good daiquiri".
To its credit, the Murano CrossCabriolet is seen as being much more innovative than the aformentioned R-Class and more refined than the Aztek.
