Mini Cooper S 2010
Mini Convertible 2010
Mini Clubman 2010
The Mini trio of hatchback, Convertible and Clubman wagon receives a mid-life nip and tuck.
Upgraded petrol and new diesel engines form part of the revision, along with a few exterior and interior design tweaks.
The fresher design shown by the models allows for a new bumper design to meet ever-increasing pedestrian safety requirements and LEDs for the rear lights (with dynamic brake function to let those following know when an emergency procedure is being performed).
New wheels, paint finishes and other extras can be chosen too, while, for the interior, new seat upholstery and trim options are offered for the different models. The Clubman model now comes with a retractable roller-type luggage compartment cover.
Entertainment and communications are said to be easier to manage and use with the help of new audio and navigation systems and a high-resolution colour display in the central speedo display. All radios come with an MP3-compatible CD player and auxiliary connection, while a Bluetooth hands-free system and USB interface are also offered.
The revised Mini range will be unveiled in European markets from September this year. More details are expected by then.
