OSLO, Norway - An 11-year-old boy has been caught behind the wheel of a car twice in a week, police in Norway have reported.
Police stopped the boy at a road block in Flekkerjord, about 100km from his home in Bryne, the Stavanger Aftenbladed newspaper reported.
HEADED FOR DENMARK
Earlier in the week the same boy took to the road in his step-father's car and drove an estimated 150km before the car ended up in a ditch. He was then quoted as saying he had been "heading for Denmark to meet some friends".
The boy's mother said he had also tried to drive a tractor on to a highway. Social welfare authorities and his family were discussing how to help him.
Driving lessons, perhaps?
