Hyundai is busying itself updating its compact and cute i10 city car with a range of design upgrades and a few new engines, too.
Compared with the current i10, the revised car has new interior and exterior styling that aligns it more closely with its larger siblings.
New Euro 5 compliant “Kappa” engines, including a new one-litre and a revised 1.2-litre, are featured in the range, too.
These engines will also be seen in cousin Kia Picanto which will arrive in South Africa in June 2011.
The revised range gets a number of trim upgrades, too and new standard options including iPod connectivity, four crash bags, power windows and central locking.
Hyundai SA has confirmed 1.0- and 1.2-litre versions of the facelifted i10 will be available in South Africa from early May, 2011.
