TOKYO, Japan – Honda will showcase its EV-STER electric concept car at the at the 42nd Tokyo auto show 2011.
The EV-STER, an electric rear-wheel-drive two-seater convertible sports car, will hopefully attract a larger following in the green-freindly car market. Carbon materials and its light-weight construction allows the electric car to achieve a claimed driving range of 160km.
The EV-Ster's 58kW lithium-ion battery is capable of rocketing the carbriolet from 0-100km/h in five seconds with a top speed of 160km/h.
Recharge time is rated at three hours (200V) and six hours (100v).
