London - Sometimes a regular station wagon just isn't big enough and a regular people-carrier is often too naff for the occasion, so why not a stretched Ferrari?

Perhaps one such as this outrageous stretched Ferrari spotted outside Harrod's in Knightsbridge, London just before Christmas. It claims, according to the London Daily Mail, to be the fastest limousine in the world with a top speed of 265km/h.

'EVERYBODY WANTS A FERRARI'

Essentially, it's a regular Ferrari 360 Modena that's been cut in half and extra bodywork added between the bits to accommodate eight people. Its designer, Manchester-based businessman Dan Cawley who owns a car rental company called Style Limousines, told the Daily Mail:

"Every boy wants to get into a Ferrari. This was a way for people to be able to do that with seven mates. It's the biggest and craziest vehicle you can get and we made it because we wanted to create the ultimate Ferrari experience."

The six-metre car cost the equivalent of R2.6-million to assemble.
