BMW South Africa will launch the new 3 Series coupe cabriolet here in March 2007. We have exclusive info about this drop-top's pricing.

This is the fourth generation of the BMW 3 Series convertible but unlike its predecessors, the latest model does not come with a soft-top.

For the first time BMW makes use of a retractable lightweight steel hardtop with a fully automated opening and closing mechanism.

BMW also claims that the new open-top BMW 3 Series model is the first in its class to offer leather equipment with sun reflective technology which greatly reduces overheating of seats in sunny weather.

Two models will be available in South Africa:

  • BMW 335i Convertible with 225 kW - R577 000
  • BMW 330i Convertible with 200 kW - R484 000
