Cleese brings comedy to traffic

Ask any motorist and they’ll tell you the worst thing a driver has to experience, apart from taxis, is mind-numbing traffic. Actor John Cleese reveals his motoring frustrations in a hilarious a new road campaign.

Cleese is no stranger to ads, from his famous Compaq computer spots in the 1980's to his ‘Faulty Showers’ sketches in 2010. His latest foray into the realm of advertising is in a new campaign for GPS company TomTom.

The ads form part of TomTom’s Break Free campaign and shows Cleese as an irate driver who begins to voice his frustrations musically to the bcking of Queen’s ‘I Want to Break Free’.

It may be shameless money-grabbing but the ads are still hilarious. Watch the clips below:
