Boy, 14, in US Celica joyride

TEEN DREAM: Toyota’s Celica is one of the brand’s most entertaining rear-wheel drive cars but not for novice drivers.
America’s Pacific north-west is one of the most idyllic places to live unless you're a bored teenager with pent-up racing instincts and a desire to show off to a girlfriend.
Road users on Washington State’s Interstate 5 were shocked on June 9, 2011 as a Toyota Celica coupe weaved manically through traffic at speeds of nearly 150km/h, an alarming excess on America’s usually well-disciplined (and patrolled) highways.
Washington State’s blanket speed limit is 70mph (112km/h) and inevitably the speeding (and weaving) Celica caused a three-car collision after colliding with a Toyota Tundra.
AND IN THE CAR WERE...
State troopers arrived and saw the Celica driver trying to drive away (the Toyota coupe was still operational) but soon it was out of control again and struck a barrier.
When the Celica’s door was swung open law enforcement officials were amazed to find two 14-year-olds in the front seats.
The teenagers were released into parental custody but the boy who was driving now faces an investigation for driving without a licence, reckless driving, hit-and-run and driving without insurance.
