Two new mobility services from BMW i show how the German automaker will make locating parking spaces easier. The new service will even allow you to rent out a parking bay.
ParkatmyHouse is an online marketplace which sets up a link between free spaces and drivers looking for parking, including entrepreneurs and homeowners who want to rent their premises.
This service has spread through the UK and now has more than 150 000 registered drivers and parking spaces at more than 20 000 locations.
PARK NOW
The electronic parking service ParkNow allows users to book their parking space. Drivers get a guaranteed parking space at a clearly defined rate based on their personal preferences.
Customers can use the ParkNow application for smart phones to search for or reserve a parking space and pay for their space immediately.
There are 14 ParkNow stations installed in San Francisco. ParkNow is a joint venture between BMW i and Urban Mobility.
