Audi may not have plans for a car beneath the A1 (for now) but the company boss is keen to churn out a Q1 SUV.While media reports have previously speculated about Audi developing a city car based on the Volkswagen Up!, CEO Rupert Stadler didn’t seem so keen in a recent interview with Automotive News Europe. Stadler said: "I cannot imagine that we will have a new model below our current A1 entry-level car."'STILL POTENTIAL'Instead, the man at the helm of the luxury brand sees room in Audi’s portfolio for an entry-level SUV below the new Q3 that's set to debut later in 2011. "The Q family certainly still has potential. It is not yet complete," he said.A decision hasn’t been taken on whether the SUV will be badged Q1, Stadler added. Audi is feverishly expanding its model line-up in a bid to overtake BMW as the world's top luxury automaker by 2015.
