A new YouTube clip shows some rather poor parenting as a four-year-old girl is allowed to ride a motorcycle on a public road.
In the video it is clear the bike is traveling at speed, so she doesn't have to touch the brakes or gears... which is good, since she can't reach either...
The girl can be seen clinging onto the handlebars but fortunately there's an adult sitting behind her.
Once the bike is going fast enough it would be easy enough for a small child to steer the bike, assuming nobody cuts in front of her or quick steering manoeuvers are needed.
Despite all the associated risks of having a pre-schooler at the controls, neither the girl not the adult behind her is wearing a helmet - but but at least she's wearing sunglasses...
That said, her lane changes are quite smooth, leading us to believe this may not be her first time on a bike.
Children riding bikes are fairly common across Asia but most are at least able to reach the pedals.
According to the YouTube description, this video was shot in India and the way the camera tilts and switches position suggests this may have been filmed on a bike.
Let's hope the cameraman wasn't riding and filming - you never know...
