The all-new Alfa Romeo 149 is a few short months away from release and these pictures reveal more clues on what to expect.
The first images of the car to be snapped in full 149 kit (earlier images showed the car with a Bravo body with an Alfa head) reveal it to have an overall length of around 4.3 m. This would makes it about the same length as the former 156, which reveals 149 is substantially larger than the car it replaces.
It will reportedly also feature a multi-link rear suspension and Active Roll Control.
The 149, which will be available in the five-door bodystyle only, is based on the Fiat Bravo platform.
Power is expected to come from a host of petrol engines ranging from a 1.4 T-Jet to a potent 3.2-litre V6 powerplant for the range-topping GTA.
Like MiTo, 149 is also expected to receive a six-speed manual gearbox as standard with an automatic option being available on some engines.
