Porsche is serious about producing a fifth model range, these pictures show, and the latest model will be a BMW X3-rivalling small SUV.
These images were taken as the heavily-taped SUV was leaving Porsche's Stuttgart facility.
Following the lead of the very successful Cayenne full-sized SUV, built with some help from Volkswagen, the new car will likely source a fair amount of its components from Audi's recently-revealed Q5.
This may also signal Porsche's entry into the diesel market since the omission of diesel power will not be easily overlooked in this segment.
However, while these images are being circulated, the exact name of the SUV remains unknown. The name Roxster is being tossed about, although nothing has yet been confirmed.
