Brabus has given the Mercedes C-Class some serious muscle
German car tuner Brabus has boosted the new Mercedes C-Class with some potent muscle.
For the new C280 and C350 models Brabus offers its 4.0-litre engine. By installing a special crankshaft and larger pistons displacement is increased to 4.0 litres.
The impressive results of the conversion are a maximum power output of 244 kW
and a peak torque of 420Nm at 4 200 r/min. This model can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds while top speed is 275 km/h.
There are also performance kits for the CDI models. Brabus can increase power output of the C200 CDI by 28.7kW and bumps peak torque to 385 Nm. Thanks to Brabus the C220 CDI's power output is up to 143 kW and torque to 450 Nm
For the C320 CDI there is 35.3 kW of additional power while torque is increased to 590 Nm. This model has a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
Naturally the Brabus-tuned C-Class models look the sporty part too. The cars come with a Brabus stainless-steel quad sport exhaust as well as custom tyre/wheel combinations.
