The first pictures of BMW's MINI Clubman have leaked on the internet. The Clubman is based on the Traveller concept car and the second in what could be a range of body styles for MINI.
BMW will officially unveil the car at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Riding on a longer wheelbase than the Cooper models, the Clubman is more about versatility as it offers more bootspace.
It is still recognisable as a MINI but comes with three extra doors ? a short one along the rear right-hand side and two side-opening tail doors.
The engine range will reflect that of the Cooper, with a choice of turbocharged or non-turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engines.
It is expected that the Clubman will only arrive in SA in the first half of 2008.
