After BMW decided to stop the CS project altogether, Munich now seems to favour another solution to strike against the competition: an M7.
Spies recently caught a prototype of what is to become the M7, equipped with a typical M-style front bumper with huge air-intake underneath the lamp units.
The rear skirt appears to be modified, too, but more interesting is the fact that the new M7 will receive a front bonnet made of aluminium to improve handling and weight-balance.
Currently the range-topping 760i has a 6.0-litre V12 engine. Maximum power is rated at 400kW and peak torque is 750Nm. Naturally an M7 mode will have more oomph but time will tell whether it will beat the S65 AMG’s 450kW.
