Audi is to unveil its new A5 coupe at the Geneva Motor Show in March. However, we have found the first teaser pic of the newcomer, which is destined to rival classy two-doors such as the BWM 3 Series and Merc CLK coupes.
This teaser photo of the Audi A5 has surfaced on the internet. Audi is due to launch the A5 at the Geneva Motor Show.
The teaser pic of the A5 shows the car from the top. When Audi lifts the lid on the A5 in March, its styling will probably also show what Ingolstadt has in mind for the next generation A4, which is due in 2008.
But the A5, which will be a 2+2, appears to be quite a sizeable vehicle too and almost as long as an A6.
The entry-level model will get the VW/Audi group?s highly-acclaimed 147kW 2.0-litre turbocharged FSI engine.
The goods news is that there will be an S5 and RS5 models too. Naturally the RS5 will feature the RS4?s potent 4.2-litre V8 with a power output of 310kW.
Audi will only launch the A5 in South Africa in 2008.
