Audi A5 Sportback exposed

See the first images of the Audi A5 Sportback that were shot in east Germany recently.
The model is planned for a September debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show and will be next in the expansion the A5 range.
As a Sportback, this A5 will lose its two-door configuration to become a more practical five-door instead. But to differentiate it from the hatched A4 Avant, its styling may be more in line with that of the A7 four-door coupe.
The A5 Sportback reportedly will be positioned directly beneath the upcoming A7.
According to reports, A5 Sportback will be powered by a range of engines not yet seen in the A5 range, including the 4.2-litre V8. A more athletic RS model is also expected to form part of its line up.
