Though the Audi A5 Sportback is no secret thanks to several teasers and spy photo, a photo of the real thing has now made its appearance - shortly before an official unveiling of the car later this week.
The A5 Sportback, which will also be shown at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show shares, its genes with the A5 Coupe.
However, its slightly bigger than its 2-door sibling while luggage space will be more too.
It is also to be positioned as a sportier alternative to the A4, with a lower suspension system and a rear diffuser.
Under the bonnet there will be familiar engine options such as the 2.0 TDI with 125kW and 350Nm of torque, the 2.7TDI of 140 kW and 400Nm and the 3.0TDI with 500Nm, while petrol line-up will include the 155kW 2.0TFSI and the 3.2-litre V6.
Rumour has it that S and RS models are on the cards too.
