Ford's new Explorer 4x4!

According to Ford the Explorer has been the world's best-selling SUV for 15 consecutive years with sales totalling nearly 5.5 million

Ford says that the 2006 Explorer continues the range's legacy of offering "genuine SUV capability with innovative refinement, packaging and driving dynamics".

The vehicles comes with a new 4.6-liter, three-valve V8 and 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers delivers 215 kW of power.

Ford claims the new Explorer meets all US frontal- and side-impact crash requirements through to 2010.

The vehicle as a bolder exterior design but it is still recognisable as an Explorer and Ford product.
