Fiat Punto goes topless

Italian design house Fioravanti will launch a convertible-pickup version of the Grande Punto at the Geneva Motor Show.
This new concept uses Fioravanti's new unique roof folding technology, which was first seen in full production use in the limited edition Ferrari Superamerica in 2005.
But on the Punto there is an additional folding tailboard which allows the car to be transformed into a bakkie too.
Fiovaranti's one-piece folding roof is made of carbon fibre and it opens and closes in ten seconds.
Rumour has it that Fiat could decide to turn Fioravanti's concept into a production model to rival cars such as the 206 cc.
