Ferrari in bid for 'largest parade'

Ferrari North Europe has more than 1000 cars registered to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Parade of Ferrari Cars.

The record attempt is booked for 6pm on Saturday, September 15 during Ferrari Racing Days at the Silverstone race circuit in England.

EXCLUSIVE GUEST APPEARANCES

Ferrari North Europe set the original record with 385 cars, also at Silverstone at the same occasion in 2007. A later attempt raised the car bar to 490.

More than 600 were registered in the first month when the attempt was announced but Ferrari North Europe had always had the ambition to set a Guinness record with 1000 cars.

Registrations remain open as Ferrari expects the recently extended Silverstone GP circuit to be able to accommodate more than 1000 cars.

Ferrari Racing Days, to be held at Silverstone over September 15/16, is the only motor racing event in the UK at which Ferrari fans will see the ultra-exclusive FXX and 599XX development cars on track and a wide range of historic Ferrari F1 cars from the F1 Clienti department.

Organisers have also arranged a schedule of races from the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli and the Ferrari Club Challenge, the Pirelli Ferrari Open.
