According to Chrysler the new Sebring builds on the "winning formula" begun with Chrysler 300C, and more recently, the all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber.
Three engine options power the new Sebring: a new 2.4-litre four-cylinder, a 2.7-litre V6 engine and a 3.5-litre V6 engine.
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring will be available in US dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2006 and in global volume markets in the first half of 2007.
A DaimlerChrysler spokesperson told Wheels24 that DCSA has not yet taken a decision on introducing the Sebring here.
But we won't be surprised if the Sebring is part of DCSA's plans to extend the Chrysler brand here. If so, the Sebring will probably arrive here in the middle of 2007. Watch this space!
